Presence

We could say that to be present is to become the observer, the one who watches. The practice of presence or mindfulness teaches you to observe all that is occurring in each Now moment. To not judge or get hooked in, but to watch the thoughts, sounds, sensations, feelings and experiences come and go in your inner and outer life. The more a human being is able to observe life without judgement and with curiosity, the more effortless life becomes.

It is the combination of non-judgmental, complete presence and a single focus intent in every moment, that is the alchemical process of creation and manifestation. Intentful awareness is the key to manifestation and co-creation. It is the stillness of the mind and complete presence in the moment (and with whatever you are doing), that we refer to as mindfulness.

Most human beings are so used to having ‘busy’ minds that it takes training to rewire the brain and undo the conditioning. To come to a place where you are able to stay present most of the time. The importance of quieting the mind is the ability to receive clarity from the divine within, your intuition. When there are too many voices in your mind, it is hard to know which one to trust.

Complete presence in each Now moment is the first step in understanding and learning how to master or regulate energy. With presence comes awareness, with awareness comes understanding. With understanding comes the ability to create change.

When you are aware, you notice, you do not force or meddle in your experience. You just notice. You observe. When you have learned how to quieten the mind and become the observer, you have the opportunity to become the alchemist. To start learning how to change, transmute or create energy or information with your intent. You become not only an observer, completely present in the here and now, but you are able to create change internally and externally by focusing your mind on that which you want to heal, release, transmute or manifest.

With intentful awareness, everything becomes magick. Every thought, every action, every breath you take has the opportunity to become an act of intent, of magick, of co-creation. Every object in your possession has the ability to become a sacred object of magick and power. Every breath can become a release of trauma, or a creation of a lifelong dream. Every thought, intent, word, action carries a vibration or frequency. It is this frequency the universe responds to. When your intent is not aligned with your words, and your awareness not in the present, manifestation and integration will not occur.

One type of intentful awareness is by human beings referred to as compassionate or loving awareness. It is awareness tuned into a frequency of the highest vibration of light, one of joy, love, happiness, confidence, trust and power. You choose to focus your awareness on the present and observe and interact with it in a curious, non-judgmental, loving, kind way. It is this type of awareness and intent that is the key to all healing and creation.
